Childhood is full of discovery and learning, and one of the best ways to learn is through play.

When children learn by discovering and figuring things out on their own, they learn how to actually solve the unexpected problems life hands them, and not just the answers they memorized. 

Lakeshore Learning has been a favorite of mine for fun, educational toys, art supplies, and learning materials. Now, with a new baby on the way, we are looking for more entertaining-but-productive things to entertain  my son with.

I am always looking for new, innovative building toys for M. They are my favorite option for developmental toys, encouraging creativity, problem solving, engineering, and more, all through a natural learning experience. The thing is, M isn’t so good with piling things on top of each other. He likes to actually connect them, and LOVES putting things into holes (he sticks pens into the openings on every toy he owns.)
